Christ in Song 568
BEAUTIFUL ROBES
1"Arrayed in fair linen, clean and white; for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints." - Rev. 19:8.
We shall walk with him in white; In that country pure and bright, Where the saints from earth's dark night may dwell;
And our robes shall be as snow, By the fountains of de-light, When the Lamb his ransomed ones shall lead.
RefrainBeautiful robes, (Beautiful robes,) Beautiful robes, (Beautiful robes,) Robes of light,
Gar-ments of light, Love-ly and bright, (Omit,) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Beautiful robes, Beautiful robes, Beautiful robes, Robes of light, Beautiful robes we then shall wear.
2We are washed in the blood of the Lamb, And our garments are white as the snow;
Where the day-break never closes, For the blessed light that shines Is the glo-ry of the Saviour's smile;
Robed in garments full and sweet, For ref-ting-ship complete, Washed, and in the Lamb's e-ter-nal smile.
