Be Not Afraid

1Be not afraid, ye saints of God; Press onward to the prize; Above the storms of earth abide The sunshine of the skies.

RefrainBe not afraid, be not afraid, He will your Helper be; Be not afraid, be not afraid, He will your Helper be.

2Be not afraid, though foes are strong And earth-born pleasures lure; The Captain of salvation still Doth make your triumph sure.

3Be not afraid, though dark the night, And distant seems the shore; Behind the clouds, however dark, The sun shines as before.
