Praise Ye the Lord

1Praise ye the Lord! 'tis good to raise
Your hearts and voices in His praise;
His nature and His works invite
To make this duty our delight.

2Praise ye the Lord! for it is good
To sing praises unto our God;
For it is pleasant, and to praise
It is comely for such as we.

3He doth the broken heart upbind,
And heal the wounds of troubled mind;
Unto the meek His grace He shows,
His help He gives to all who call.
