The Voice That Speaks

1The voice that speaks to earth and heaven,
That calls the dead to rise,
Shall to the faithful soul be given
To hear beyond the skies.

2O blessed hope! O glorious morn!
When Jesus shall appear,
And we, from earthly cares withdrawn,
Shall meet our Savior dear.

3Then shall we see Him as He is,
And like Him we shall be;
The long-lost paradise
Restored eternally.
