God's Free Mercy Streameth

1God's free mercy streameth
Over all the world,
And His banner gleameth
Everywhere unfurled.
Broad and deep and glorious,
As the heaven above,
Shines in might victorious
His eternal love.

2Lord, Thy love's dominion
Reaches near and far;
In Thy care, Thy children,
Guarded from afar.
When life's day is closing,
And my lips are still,
May I then, reposing,
Rest beneath Thy will.
