1I love thine earthly Sabbaths, Lord, For they are days of holy rest; And have a meaning in thy word, That they shall be forever blest.

2I love thine earthly Sabbaths, Lord, To join and congregate thy people here, To hear thy faithful, precious word, And lift them for a higher sphere.
