Hymns and Tunes 1886 477
Grant me within thy courts a place
1Grant me within thy courts a place,
Among thy saints a seat,
Forever to behold thy face,
And worship at thy feet.
2Here in my earthly temple dwelling,
When storms of trouble blow,
And in thy tabernacle hide,
Secure from every foe.
3Here will I offer sacrifice,
When thus I hear thee speak,
My heart would leap for joy, and say,
'Thy face, Lord, will I seek.'
4Then leave me not when grief assail,
And earthly comforts flee;
When father, mother, kindred fail,
My God, remember me.
