He Will Not Let Thy Foot Be Moved

1He will not let thy foot be moved, Thy guardian never sleeps;
His eye, which never slumbers, proved A watch o'er Israel keeps.

2No burning heats by day, nor blasts Of evening air shall harm;
He guards thy life, he guards thy rest, Return, O Lord, with thy salvation.

3Thy God shall bless thy going out, Thy coming in shall bless;
From this time forth, and evermore, Thy God shall give thee rest.
