I FOLLOW ON

1I follow on, I follow on,
For Jesus leads the way;
My soul is fed with living bread,
By the words that he doth say.

RefrainI have sought, I have sought,
Let thy thy seeking heart be brought;
Safe, sweet, and safe and found,
In Jesus I am found.

2I follow on, I follow on,
Though trials may be sore;
Though darkness be all around me,
I'll trust him more and more.

3I follow on, I follow on,
Till Jesus comes in his glory;
I'll sing his praise throughout the days,
And tell the wondrous story.

4I follow on, I follow on,
Till I reach the other side;
While Jesus leads, my soul he feeds,
In him I will abide.
